Park View Primary School is a thriving, welcoming and inclusive two-form entry school delivering a well-structured curriculum from Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2.
Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2022, the school supports a culture that promotes academic excellence, creativity, and personal growth.
Originally opened in 1932, the school has undergone significant redevelopment, including a purpose-built Reception block and an impressive Year 6 unit. The Foundation Stage, completely rebuilt in 2015, provides a welcoming and stimulating space for the youngest learners.
Investment in whole-school improvements - from new flooring and furniture to upgraded staff and pupil facilities - ensures a high-quality setting for both teaching and learning. Technology plays a key role, with laptops, iPads, Kindles, and Skype facilities readily available to enhance education.
Beyond the classrooms, the school boasts exceptional outdoor spaces, including a dedicated sports field, four playgrounds, an astroturf agility area, and zoned play spaces designed for inclusive and enjoyable break times. Security is a priority, with CCTV, anti-vandal measures, and patrols ensuring a safe environment.
Our vision is that all Park View children achieve their potential and develop into caring, responsible and hardworking citizens. Learning is fun and children are supported to achieve their very best.
All schools have their own distinctive ‘feel’ which makes each one unique, and we believe that the special sense at Park View Primary comes from our caring, supportive and friendly environment, as well as our strong community cohesion.
